Christmas ready

Do you know the feeling when you have every thing done? Almost, next week I need to make lefse for two families. That is about 30 lefses. For those of you who do not know what lefse is, it is potatoes, cream, sugar, salt and butter. Mix it well, roll into balls, and cook on a lesfe griddle till done. In the old days, they used to cook these on an old wood cookstove. There is nothing better than ham, turkey, meatballs rolled up in lefse. Ummmmmmmmmum good.

The Holiday season is upon us and there is a lot of cooking to be done. At our house we do baking of all types for several weeks before Christmas. My girls get together and we cook all day long. Cookies recipes are a must . We try new ones every year. I am trying to teach my girls to be as good of cooks as their mother.

With the tools of today there really isn't any reason for bad cooking. As I search the web today there are hundreds of items that I would love to have to help in everyday cooking. I have always loved to cook, so I am always looking for new items. I am doing my kitchen in all red items. Toaster, mixer, canisters, fry pans, slow cooker and tools.
